YAWN

I don't have much to say this week- last week's Easter post had a lot of pictures, so we have a little bit of a backlog in this post from the past 2 weeks. The kids are doing great- we did a little bit of work with Ivy to help her get in her crib at night and (knock on wood) she seems to be improving and going down a little bit better- hopefully this is a turn for the better! I must say I have enjoyed sleeping in a bed again.
We have not been up to too much. Ivy did turn 2 months old a week ago- however I will post her monthly pictures later this week after we go to the Doctor and find out all her stats.

The DUO
BEST BUDS! (the expression on his face in this first one slays me!)

Brooks needs a haircut so badly as you can see here. I tried to trim him yesterday and it was an all out tantrum- but it isn't as long as this anymore

Brooks is funny- he and Eric went for a walk around today (it was an aimless one directed by Brooks). Apparently when they passed Starbucks Brooks went up to the door yelling Mommy. HAHAHAHA- shows I have a coffee problem I think.

Brooks still loves walking around in grownup shoes. His absolute favorite (not shown) are Eric's dress shoes since they make cool noises when he stomps.

He is becoming such a big boy and less of a baby= you can even tell with how he hangs out.

He loves playing with water in the back yard- we definitely need to get him a water table as the rainwater and mud is kind of gross

Ivy is more and more interactive- she is so different from Brooks. Now he was a smiley baby, but he made you work for it- almost seemed amused by how stupid he could get you to look just to get a grin. Ivy, well Ivy is a smiling fool- she grins and smiles in an instant- love it!

Also- she is an expert at the 'tongue' game- we learned in baby class when we were expecting Brooks that newborns imitate facial expressions like sticking out your tongue. Ivy really will imitate it, and it is so cute!

She is doing great at tummy time! (dr. prescribed to all babies- tummy time is helpful for developing neck muscles and for not getting a flat spot on the back of the head!)

Pictures from our visit to the Garden State Children's Museum in Cherry Hill- we definitely have to go back!

The bubble section was awesome!
