The driving part of it-not so much fun. On Saturday we took the kids to see their great grandmother- Eric's grandma. It took us over 4 hrs to get there- traffic was terrible. But once there we had a very nice visit.
Then- after our visit we left NYC to go to New Jersey and stay over night with Nana and grandPA to celebrate Easter. Why did I type grandPA- b/c Brooks calls him Pa (really Paw). He calls my mom Nana, but that sounds funny too b/c he sort of growls it.
We had a great night- I enjoyed the hot tub for the first time in a long time- then woke up to see what the Easter Bunny brought! After baskets we went to church- left early b/c neither kiddo was doing so hot, came home- had an egg hunt, then nap time for all. While the duo was napping Aunt Ali & Uncle Dave came along with his mother, brother, and gf. We had a nice dinner, kids were cheerful and got to hang with everyone, and Brooks was running around like a lunatic. After the festivities we hung out until bedtime and hit the road- it took 3 hrs to get home!
It was a busy and exhausting weekend with lots of driving- but we had a great visit with family and Brooks had a blast so it was worth it!

B was not into the headband so I am lucky I got that shot, but I got lots of cute pics if Ives in her bunny hat Uncle G gave her.

Nana & Grandpa got a rollercoaster for the yard- Aunt Ali tried to show him how it worked. It was a little scary for him b/c he let go as soon as it started going.
