It was a quiet week this week- we did not do much worth mentioning except celebrate Eric's 35th birthday! We went to dinner at a new sushi place around the corner- Brooks ate a ton - including eel/avocado rolls (eel is cooked in sushi!). I love that he will try everything- hopefully that lasts and we are giving him a good foundation by exposing him to all sorts of food now.
Miss Ivy had her 1 month appt on thursday. She weighed in at 9lb 8oz and 20.5 inches long. So she is a bit of a peanut- Brooks was 10lb 5oz at 1 month and this was actually 5 weeks old. But she is doing well. Dr. didn't have much to say about the crying- a few things to try to help with gas and to watch to consider if it is reflux and she needs meds. She screamed the whole time so he got to see what we are talking about. Fortunately she has more good days than bad ones, but the bad ones are heartbreaking. She is much more alert now and is paying attention to things. She would enjoy her activity mat a lot more if King Kong (Brooks) would leave her be on it and not roll all over her.

Brooks has discovered our courtyard. This is a great thing as it occupies him for a long time- and a bad thing b/c he constatnly wants to be out there and to get or stay inside is a tantrum

A temper tantrum- all we did was ask him to say please and he had a major meltdown (he is usually great with his pleases and thank yous). First he pouted and cried, then when that didn't work he screamed at Eric. Then he screamed at me. He is literally screaming like a horror film in these pics, not crying, but yelling
