The kids and I are just going day by day. Brooks is OBSESSED with Gymboree- all day long he asks for bo-ree? bo-ree? bo-ree? This entails tantrums at the door at times. Eric will even walk him up to see that the lights are out and it is closed. Surprisingly he just throws his arms up in the 'all done' motion and is over it when they go check it out.
Ivy girl is doing great- she is smiling now and it is so cute. Brooks still loves her to death (seriously- he loves her tough and I get nervous she is going to get hurt- but so far no incident)
She is still not sleeping great- I am going to try to be better about putting her in her crib. She will sleep until about midnight in her crib, then I go in and pass out on the glider and we spend the night together there. I need to keep trying as I have not been great about it choosing sleep over the battle- but she is older now so maybe it will go better. Spring is taunting us with nice weather and I cannot wait until it is here. I think we are going to join a bunch of places (like the zoo) so we can just go over and do outside stuff too.
Each other's favorite person!
Example of the tough love- sure he'll kiss her, she just may get poked in the eye in the process
We have introduced a bottle here and there just so she will take one- B liked the idea of feeding her
Tough love even when she sleeps
We have brought a lot of the baby stuff out of storage for Ivy to use- Brooks seems to think he should use it too, whether or not it is already occupied
Sleeping Angel
Daddy in the flower hat with his crew
Brooks still loves the stroller- the baby however has gone missing
Ivy and I are ready for spring!
I remember thinking how expressive Brooks was as an infant- Ivy also makes a ton of funny faces
Cutest little spring girl ever! We were heading to a birthday party so she is dressed nice
"See mom- I still fit!"
What the heck is this thing???
Pretty girl smiles
And I love having a girl- I get to buy things like this headband!
Is she seriously doing this to me?
Best buds on the new sleeper sofa in the basement!
Not only does he try to give her a bottle- but she has had his milk, hot dogs, and animal crackers shoved in her face as well. At least he is sharing?
The playroom with couch!
He was miffed that we told him to get out of her rocker LOL
