Exhaustion... I has it

And so does Brooks with his little tush in the air- these pictures are especially funny because when I put him down to sleep, he was wearing pants. No idea what happened to them.

Our little monkey man is running me ragged. He is so inquisitive and into everything. He is also super smart. It amazes me how much he comprehends and imitates. If he hears the words upstairs, he goes to the steps, bus he goes to the door, 'do you want to eat' he'll walk to his high chair. Somehow he seems to ignore the words no, stop, or sit down please.

He is strong- below you can see 4 dots- those are bruises on my forearm from his tiny fingers. Not sure when it happened- but it may have been during one of his 'deathly fear of public restrooms' freakouts

He tries to imitate everything. If he finds the phone (or baby monitor) is is smacked up against the side of our heads until we have a fake conversation and ask if the want to talk to Brooks and hand it to him- after which he dissolves into giggles and shoves it back into our heads. If he sees my hairbrush I am doomed for a painful few minutes of special treatment. It really is adorable

He climbs on everything

He inherited my love of reading- he now brings books over and says book then sits down and waits for you to read. And when the book is done, he turns it over, and we read it again, and again, and again, and again. I love that he loves books- but after a while I am ready to hide a few of them just to change it up.

We went to Chase M's 3rd bday party on Saturday- B had a lot of fun and was able to run around and play with the other kids more for the first time at an event like this. He and Maddie B had fun in the wagon.

And never let it be said our kid doesnt have style. This big boy is working on spoon feeding himself with applesauce. This results in a mess- all over- including his hair. When I removed his messy shirt, it styled his hair with the applesauce acting as gel. He looked quite comical. He ran around the kitchen playing with magnets, banging on the dishwasher and stove (and kissing his reflection in them) opening cabinets and trying to open locked ones- I think he enjoyed himself.

gotta love the handprints :)

In summary- the kid is an energetic nut, but he is lots of fun and it is so interesting to see what he will do next and what he has picked up on!
