Notice anything about his forehead? The kid is sporting a grade A bruise from going forehead first onto a wooden stool. This walking thing is tough on both him and I- I guess we are in the age of bumps and bruises. In case you can't tell- here is a closeup, although it is more purple now than red.
We have not been up to too much- although wow it is August- July flew by!
Chilling in his PJs- this is what we do every morning from 6:30-9ish before his 1st nap, not worth getting him dressed until after that!
No clue why he was naked here- but he looks cute!
Bumps and bruises aside, walking is going 'well'. He won't attempt it if his destination is more than a 5 step distance away, but if he is close enough to where he wants to go- he is walking there. I still think he gets shocked a little when he realizes he isn't holding on :)
Brooks has really been into feeding Eric and I... and Ming... and apparently his stuffed animals. He thinks it is hysterical when we bite :)
Eating is going well- we are going to try spoons and forks with meals now. Up to this point he only eats with his hands, and if I try to spoonfeed him something- he rejects it. Hopefully just having the utensils with him at meals will help out. I don't want him to be 2 and eating with his hands still.

Ok- how cute is this kid in a baseball hat? The hat/shirt were a birthday gift from Nana & Grandpa- so he wore it to their house for a visit.
