The news is out... Brooks is going to be a big brother and Eric and I are on our way to two under two! Introducing you to Baby Meyer #2- aka The Sequel- which Eric always changed to The Squeakquel- and so we are calling this one Squeaks for now (vast improvement over B's nickname of Lester no?) Squeaks is due to arrive 2/24/11! 2nd pregnancy is going well- but different! Whereas with B I was not sick at all, this one has kept me heaving (still). But as you can see below- all looks well and s/he is growing!
7/16/10- 7 weeks 6 days (looks like a little ghost flying sideways with the head on the right and little arm buds sticking out the sides)
8/20/10 13 weeks, 1 day- My how you've grown- the little one has both hands in the air waving hello!
In other news- the weather has cooled down a bit. I think B looks adorable and grown up in his hoodie that he wore to not get soaked in the rain on the way to gymboree!
We have been going to the park- it is a lot more fun for him now that he is walking and not just restricted to the swings- although those remain a favorite.
We also still go to the regular park without equiptment to play with Ming! He is happy to run around there and steal her frisbee
And we went down the shore for the day Sunday for the annual Meyer Shell Day! In case you don't remember- every summer the family paints shells and the ones that make the cut get framed into a shadowbox and hung in the shore house.
This was B's first real Art Project- last year we stamped his foot on a shell- you can see that here
Brooks was a very serious, messy artist, and he kept trying to brush his teeth with the paintbrush :)
This years shells- Eric and I did a joint shell with eyeballs and B is the smeared paint
