Home Alone

B and I are spending our first night home alone tonight. Eric was picked to go give a presentation to a convention in Boston- he is being wined and dined and I am dealing with a baby who has woken up every 15 minutes since 8pm (it is 10:20 now). Kind of stinks- here is hoping I finish this post before the next round of soothing. Tomorrow I am going to try putting him to bed earlier to see if that makes a difference. He has been so hard to get down in the past week or so.
Last week Brooks Nicholas Meyer met Brycen Nicholas Monitzer. The cousins are 6 days apart and share very similar names (hey- they both have mothers who were granddaughters of Nicholas Nikolayuk)

Brooks is 6 days older- here they are, fighting over girls already.

Monday night I had happy hour with some friends I had not seen in a while. B was awesome- his napped timed out perfectly and he was great. He started getting fussy right at 7:15, as expected, but we were ready for the check.

B has been such a difficult sleeper- that I have taken to letting him nap wherever he falls asleep for now. The couch seems to be popular (don't worry, I don't leave him unattended)



And lastly- Eric got some crazy masks... sadly they are for him and his friends to wear to a football game, but B had some fun with them.
