East Coast Traveler...

Brooks has now graduated to the big boy seat of his stroller- we think he likes it!

What a crazy week this has been- 4 states in as many days for this boy. We drove up to north Jersey on Tuesday night to have dinner and spend the night at Nana and Grandpa's. They babysat while I met with the minister about his baptism.

The next day, Wednesday, Nana, B, and I drove up to Woodbury Commons in NY for his first day of shopping. It was a little chilly out and he wanted no part of the stroller at first, but after the first 45 minutes and a nice nap in the carrier- he did great. We all did well- B got a couple of PJ's and Christmas sweaters.

Wed. night we had dinner again with Nana & Grandpa- we hit the road for Philly at bedtime so he would sleep the whole way.

his new ABC mat to play on when he's up in NJ

Thursday we had lunch with 3 other moms and their sons- I met these women through the hospital's moms group. One baby was 2 months older, but the other 2 boys are June babies as well- so hopefully we have some new friends

Saturday Eric, B, and I headed to FUN FEST - our annual weekend in Baltimore. It was a much different experience with a baby in tow- but it was still great. The weather was perfect and B was an angel. Happy in his stroller, lots of smiles, good naps.

on our way to the festival

With mom and Dad at the Gazebo where a band was playing

Daddy dressed him again

Mommy carried him for a while- he stared at everything and passed out

Back at the hotel he started to get cranky- so we wanted to stick to routine as much as possible. We stuck him in the sink so he could get bathtime!

After a good night's sleep (9-4:40, 5-8) we woke up and had breakfast outside

Daddy walked Brooks around to explore the grounds while Mommy ate oatmeal.

utohhhh a crab!

and a stork (or a pelican?)

and that pretty much sums up our trip. We fed him one last time and hit the road during his morning nap and are now having a lazy Sunday
