How big is Brooks!

SOOO BIG!



So Big is the new trick of the week- he loooves hearing you say soooo big and will even now sometimes hold is hands up before you ask how big he is, just to get you to say it.


We didn't do too much this week- we are having schedule issues with Brooks and I can't tell if he is switching from 2 naps to 1 nap. The 5:30 am wakeup is killing him, and then he will nap for 2.5 hrs in the morning, wake at 11:30, and not want to nap the rest of the day. That makes for super pleasant evenings. When he sleeps until 6 or 6:30 he naps 1.5 hrs in the morning and 1.5 hrs in the afternoon- those are much better days for us!

In other news- we have been doing whole milk with Brooks and I thought it was going great- he is only nursing once a day now, and drinks about 16-20 oz of milk. However, we have to talk to the pediatrician because it seems he is having a problem digesting it- maybe the lactose? Anyway- we have not seen a solid poop in 3 weeks so are researching things like goat, soy, rice, and almond milk. Hopefully this is something he will grow out of- we may have introduced it too fast or his digestive system just may not be ready for it yet.

Ming got a haircut this week- she is looking good!



And speaking of haircuts- Brooks is FINALLY getting on on Tuesday. He has needed one for a while now but scheduling ahs been tough and since it is his first- we wanted it to be special. We are going to go back to the barber shop where Eric used to go.

I call this set of pictures a study of how desperately this kid needs a trim! (and no- it doesn't always look this bad- I brushed it out to show how long it is)




And here are belated pictures of our 4th of July baby- we forgot to put the hat on last week (the hat is so big it even fits Eric's huge head).
