The Holiday Season is upon us! The family has been super busy celebrating the season- they don't call it the most wonderful time of the year for nothing. So far we have bought a Christmas Tree, spent a family day at Christmas Village (right near City Hall, but not at City Hall thank.you.very.much.Occupy.Philadelphia), and the kids and I spent a night at my parents so we could bake Christmas cookies. This year has been the most fun yet with the kids since B is really into it.

Tree shopping- I love our tree and can't wait to post pictures of it decorated! Brooks had no interest in the tree, but loved the nursery. We went to a nice nursery that is fully decorated and decked out for Christmas and he had so much fun playing with the bells and checking out the lights.

Quite possibly one of my favorite pictures ever- and you can't even see her face!

Christmas Village! Christmas Village is an area right near Eric's office that is a bunch of little stores/shops. I *think* it is supposed to be sort of a German Christmas celebration, they sell mulled wine, German sausages, fresh baked strudels, and more. B loved watching the live music, and we visited Santa- who by the way, was an AMAZING Santa. It was such a lovely day.

And Cookie Baking! We drove up to nanapa's. That's the name for my parents house, although B says Nana & Grampa now, he calles it nanapa house. We went out for a great breakfast with Nana and both kids were amazing, then baked and decorated. Brooks really had fun with the shaping the cookies with the fork and dipping them in chocolate and sprinkles for decor.
This definitely is going to be an annual tradition!
