Not much to report- just the same going ons. This was busy because Eric went away for part business part pleasure for the better part of a week. This is when I really miss living near family. It would have been nice to have help close by, but we made it through and I was beat at the end! Brooks is getting funnier and funnier. His conversation has become much clearer and more abstract. And Ivy is also gabbing a lot more (although even Brooks will say 'what's Ivy talking about'). She is also, sort of, on the move. She isn't crawling classicly, or even really getting anywhere with deliberation. But she can manage to end up 4 ft from where I put her, so something is going on in a series of pulls, twists, and wriggles.

Hard to believe it was exactly 2 yrs ago we went to Disney with Brooks and bought this hat- he thinks it is funny to put on Ivy!
Ivy's favorite game with Daddy- it's called 1,2,3 IVY! and then she looks in the mirror. Brooks will even ask to play 1,2,3 Ivy LOL

At 9 months
*you smile all the time and find Brooks to be the most hysterical person ever
*you have serious mommy attachment issues still- I love it and am a little suffocated all at the same time
*are the snuggliest cuddle bug ever
* nap twice a day- 1st nap in the stroller, 2nd nap we let you cry and you go down on your own now!
*get up once in the night somewhere between 4-5pm
* eat 2.5 meals a day. You sit down to lunch and dinner (usually one 4oz jar of food/yogurt/applesauce plus finger food of whatever B and I are having). Breakfast counts as half a meal b/c sometimes I will give you toast or a waffle or something, otherwise you just munch on cheerios
* found your voice and have started babbling and shrieking
* Get very very frustrated when you don't get what you want (please crawl soon!)
*move around, but don't know how you do it, so get frustrated when you want something LOL
* are loved to pieces!
*weigh in at 17 lbs! My peanut :)
