Some updates are that we joined the Zoo & the Franklin Institute. This is great, definitely worth the money when you add up what multiple visits would cost, and B has loved it. I am saving those pictures for another post- yes! another post this week that I am already setting up so it will be done. This post is just pictures of our normal daily doings- park, playground, gymboree, the house.
The only real updates I have are that Ivy had her 6 month checkup- she looks perfect and is extra happy and extra strong! (per the ped). Her eye is doing great as well. She had 3 shots :( but handled them like a champ. At 6 months (6.5 really) she is 15 lb 12 oz, and 25.5 inches long. We also started her on solids- she is not feeling them too much. Although carrots were a bigger hit than sweet potatoes. As far as Brooks goes, he is just jabbering more and more. My favorite is that I have a little song I made up for Ivy (I had one for B as well when he was little) that I sing when I calm her down. It goes "Ivy Divy she's my girl, she's the best girl in the world'. And there is more- but B has started singing "Ivy Divy my girl my world". LOVE
So- anyway- here's the past few weeks!
toe muncher!
A picture to break out for his girlfriends someday! (he has not actually done anything, but we are starting to sit him there before his shower just to get him used to it)
My goofs- I wish B didn't have a fake smile on
This is him looking for Daddy when I said the 33 bus was coming
Weeding!
One of his favorite 'toys'- a real phone (yes he is supervised so he doesn't strangle himself)
Hurricane Irene activity- baking cookies!
This girl is going to be tough!
I asked him to smile so he put on the pout lip to be funny
My favorite crew!
Look at B's grin and Eric's- identical!
She loves snuggling him
B likes using Eric's hair gel- I put in too much not realizing how strong it was
This picture scares me b/c it means crawling is not too long off, not soon, but on the horizon.
Big girl is a master at sitting :)
She concentrates very hard on this toy (until B comes to play as well, crushing it into her legs, making her cry)
TOOOOOSHIIIEEEEE (I will delete this shortly)
This sums Ivy up- happy happy happy!
Ming!
Goofballs!
When did he get to be such a big boy!?!
Again-she's going to be tough. She did not enjoy this
B wearing his towel like daddy- he loves it.
Ivy's first food! Sweet Potatoes- she was underwhelmed
B isn't usually this messy- this was during Ivy's meal. I think he was competing
