It started out as a good week- happy baby, lots of playing, rooting on the Phillies in the NCLS finals...
But then one day Brooks did not seem himself, he was a bit lethargic and just all around tired.
The next day I went to make him lunch and came back 5 minutes later to this- and let me remind you this is not a kid who has ever fallen asleep in random places. It just is not done.
Later that night he climbed into my lap and puked buckets all over me. The next day I woke up and was sick all.day.long while taking care of sick baby. Eric came home early to help out and within 30 mins said he didn't feel well and within a couple hours he too was on the vomit train. The 3 of us were MISERABLE. Luckily it was a short lived 2 days, but they were painful and long. I am so glad we are all healthy now, that was the worst.
By Sunday we were all feeling better so decided to brave the pumpkin patch because Eric is away next weekend and it was our last opportunity for a family day.
We started with the farm animals.
Brooks was unimpressed by the chickens, but did like the goats.
Then we went to get pumpkins and of course did the obligatory 'stick your baby in a pumpkin pile and take pictures' torture shoot. However, he did much better this year than last with it.
This was our final haul... B liked riding in the wheelbarrow
We got him a balloon which was promptly sent to the sky by accident
He refused to stand by the growth chart once again
He was quite exhausted by the end of the day
Some pictures with mommy & daddy!
