BROOKS WASHINGTON :)
this picture looks like it could be a baby pic of Aunt Ali with the super big eyes
I am not sure how many people who have not had kids in the past 5 years know this, but "tummy time" is an essential activity in our daily lives. Because of the new research that back sleeping helps prevent kids from dying of SIDS, tummy time has become a necessity because babies are not spending enough time on their tummies. When the switch to back sleeping was made, they found kids crawled, rolled, sat up all later because they were not developing shoulder/neck/ab? muscles by not being on their tummies. You also have to do tummy time to prevent your baby from having to wear a helmet. By being on their backs so much they get a flat spot- so dr's actually will make you have your kid wear a helmet to sleep like this poor baby, so the flat spot does not become permanent.

So tummy time is actually a doctor prescribed activity. Babies hate it at first, but gradually get used to it and it gets better.
Brooks is doing so well at tummy time lately- here he is.
so strong (lifting his head this much is developmentally a pretty big deal!)
the extent of ming's interaction with B
so cute
And get this- he has ROLLED OVER 4 TIMES from his tummy to his back!!! Probably accidental, but the fact that he is strong enough to even do so is impressive.
