Days 6-10

Things are going well at home- hard to believe it has already been a week since we brought Ivy home.

Her umbilical cord fell off already- day 4! Wow that is early, but the Dr. said it looked good. Ivy was 7lb 5 oz at the dr. (7 lb 8 at birth, 7 lb 2oz at discharge) so that is great. We go back Monday for another weight check just to make sure she is eating enough. Nursing is going well- she took to it much better than Brooks did. Eric was home most of the week which was great- juggling the 2 of them is hard and my big goal is to get us on some sort of a schedule. Ivy is waking every 2-3 hrs at night, so I am definitely tired.

Because her cord fell off we got to give her a bath- she was not a fan

We have ordered a lot of dinners- one of which was sushi! B ate some Philadelphia roll- cooked salmon & cream cheese flash fried with some yummy sauce

B and Daddy both got haircuts together- seeing Daddy go first seemed to help, no major meltdown!

Little miss Ivy holding her daddy's fingers

So sweet

Eric & his faves!

B is a pacifier thief!

B's new favorite toy in the basement- his umbrella chair (he ignores the chair and carries it around like an umbrella) And- the bathroom shower! He stands inside and pretends to wash his hair and hands while shrieking to hear his voice echo.

Our sweet girl- B has warmed up to her enough to show her toys and give her smooches!

And her nursery- it used to be B's room decorated with jungle animals. We are keeping the blue and it is a work in progress- but I love how it is coming together
