HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
I just realized I missed posting last week- oops! Not that we have a lot going on right now or anything ;)
Biggest News- ERIC MADE PARTNER!!!!!!! Congrats to him- I know we are so proud of him and happy all his hard work paid off.
He found out on Valentine's Day- they asked him to hang around and he knew they were meeting. We didn't have any big plans anyway, just a nice homemade dinner (lambchops!) so it worked out well.
We did however have a babysitter last night so that a group of 10 of our friends could go out and toast Eric's accomplishment. It was so much fun- so nice to get out in a group, and who knows how long it will be until we get to do so again with 2 rugrats to worry about.

Mid Dance!
Squeaks updates. 5 days until the due date!!! All is looking well- I have been going in 3 times a week for dr's appts. 1 time is just the normal OB appt- this usually consists of weight, pee in a cup, blood pressure, listen to the heartbeat, any questions- and a swift goodbye. Now that we are so close they also check progress. Unfortunately Tuesday's news was not much progress- baby is still high, but I am already 2cm dilated (which sounds exciting but means nothing as far as when things will get rolling- especially since this is my 2nd kiddo).
The other 2 appts are a Non-Stress-Test to make sure the kiddo is thriving. These are usually accompanied by ultrasounds to check my fluid. Fluid has been fine.
We had a growth ultrasound Friday 2/11. Squeaks was measuring in at 7lbs even- 45%ile. So we shall see.
How am I? I feel antsy and kind of like garbage. In the past day and a half I vomited 4 times and just am exhausted. I must say though, the weather has been gorgeous and getting out and walking has been great for Brooks and I. I feel like split personality- half of me is miserable and antsy, yet the other part is in shock and disbelief that all this is happening like now.

Brooks updates-
He is doing great. He is adding more words to his vocab and trying harder to stay stuff. He is hysterically funny. He runs hands in his hair to show us hair washing, he runs laps upstairs as we fill his bath, he fake laughs with us if he hears us laughing, he will kiss, hug, and rock his baby doll when asked, he hugs us and squeals eeeee when doing so b/c that is what I do to him. This age is just so much fun.

B loves playing with fruit- not necessarily eating it, but carrying it around. When he is ready he will bring it to us to cut (not lemons- apples, avacados, oranges, etc).

Today we went to a place called The Little Tree House- it is an all natural indoor play area. All wooden toys, kids run around- tons of fun. Brooks had a BLAST! He was a crazy man running and playing. I am so happy we took him and had a nice family day on what may be our last weekend as a family of 3.

The degree to which these boys love each other and laugh is obscene- I love it!
